Kennon's Birthday!!

Monday after work, K and I went to Shelby Farms to workout. He ran the Chickasaw Trail and I rode it twice and rode around Patriot Lake once. The wind was crazy bad! I was having to pedal my bike when I was going downhill. Argh! We got home and fired up the grill and I was excited to try a new little dish:
I used some wheat rolls and put some homegrown tomatoes, fresh basil and goat cheese on them and then heated them in the over for about 10 minutes. They were pure bliss! We also had hot legs, roasted brussel sprouts and some veggies and dip;

Everything was so fresh and delicious and satisfying. We didn't finish dinner until pretty late. We had time to catch up on Losing it with Jillian, then went to sleep.
Yesterday was K's birthday and I had to go to Nashville for the day for a meeting. I left bright and early so I could get back in plenty of time to celebrate with him. We stopped for lunch on the way back at the Loretta Lynn Cafe. It was quite the scenic place. The buffet was pretty damn good though. Perfect turnip greens, black eye peas and green beans. Not bad BBQ either.

After leaving there, I got us back to Memphis as fast as possible. I had to pick up K's bike from the shop and get it to him. He loved it and I was so glad. He had no clue I was getting him that. It was not something that could easily be wrapped so I stuck these balloons on it and called it a day.

Last year for K's birthday, I took him to Restaurant Iris. It was the first time that either of us had been and we could not have been more pleased with it so I decided to carry on the tradition of trying a nice restaurant the neither of us had been to before and picked Flight which is downtown.

Once again, we were not disappointed. This place was awesome for people like us that want a little bite of everything. They serve their wine, appys, soups, salads, entrees and desserts in servings of 3 little plates/glasses/bowls of different things. We loved it. I started off with a white wine flight the had 1 pinot grigio and 2 chardonnays. I'm usually not a huge chardonnay fan but there was one in this flight that was out of this world, so good even K liked it. Morgan "Metalico". It was super delish. It tasted like fresh and crisp green apples with a little bit of sweetness. I hope it isn't priced crazy in the liquor stores, I'd like to stock some at home. K had a maker's mark, unfortunately for him they did not have a bourbon flight. After that we had the soup flight (Seafood bisque, shrimp and crab gumbo and mushroom bisque) and the seafood appy flight (shrimp tempura, lobster tail, and crabcakes). As soon as we took a few tastes of these little dishes, we knew we had struck gold. It was delish. For dinner, K did a mix and match flight with sea bass, tenderloin filet and pheasant. I had the seafood flight which had scallops, spinach ravioli topped with lobster claw meat and shrimp and grits. The plates were so tee tiny that at first I worried that we wouldn't get enough to eat but it was plenty.

In fact it was so much that we didn't have any room for a dessert flight.....bummer! I was super happy with my decision to take K to Flight and I think he enjoyed himself too, at least it sure looks like he did!

After dinner, we went back to the abode and had a few cocktails on the front porch and watched the neighborhood and talked. This has become one of our favorite past times!
J called right before we went to bed. Some guy that has a TV program on the Outdoor Network came up to their camp and they were camping out. He has really been having a blast at camp but sounded like he was getting a little home sick on that call. I can't believe it! K and I went to bed after his call and were sleeping great until around 3:45am when the stupid damn barking dog next door woke us up. He kept on for about an hour and I finally got sick enough of him to call the cops. Don't know what happened with all of that but did get a phone call from K after he left for work this morning saying the dog was loose in the middle of Mendenhall again. I saw him when I left too so I called the animal shelter. I.m thinking they were able to find him because when I got home for lunch, I didn't see him anywhere in the neighborhood and he wasn't back in their yard. I really, really, really hope I don't have to be woken up by him again! I hated to call on him but he never gets any attention and is always running loose, it is probably better for him. I'm surprised he hasn't been hit by a car yet. I made me a tomato, avocado and chicken sandwich and some carrots, tomatoes and cucumbers and dip for lunch.

Weekend at home

Friday night, J, K, Mel, Chuck, Jackson and Drew went down to Autozone Park to catch the Redbirds playing the Nashville Sounds.

The weather was actually pretty comfortable and we had great seats.

The Redbirds gave us a great night of entertainment. They were down the whole game and came back from a score of 1-6 to win it in the 9th inning. It was awesome!! The kids had almost as much fun as the adults. We had dinner at the park which consisted of a few beers and hot dogs and a few bites of K's nachos that I insisted I did not want when he was ordering. I got a little hell over that ;)
Saturday morning, I took J to his dad to spend the night and finally made my way over to the Cooper Young Farmer's Market.

I picked up some organic potatoes and tomatoes, some chicken legs and chicken eggs, a basil and a rosemary plant and some fresh mint.

I can't wait to put it in some iced tea! After the farmer's market, I went home and did absolutely nothing.....and it was nice. K, Taco and Margo did nothing with me. Margo even tried to snag my lounging place!
K picked us up some lunch and we lounged all day in the living room, watching movies and napping. It was great. We ventured out later that night and went to Tsunami for dinner.

K and I got the calamari for an appy. I had my favorite sea bass on black Thai rice with a burre blanc and K had the seared spiced tuna. He was happy with his choice until he had a bite of mine. I wound up giving him close to half of it because he was so disappointed his wasn't as good as mine....I tried to tell him!
After dinner, we went home and hung out on the front porch having cocktails and watching the going ons of the neighborhood. We have 20 somethings across the street that act like 60 somethings and 60 somethings that act like 20 somethings. The 20 year olds acting 60 were lights out and asleep when we got home at 10pm and the 60 year olds acting 20 came rolling in on 2 wheels around midnight with a slight stumble in their step. We laughed so hard the whole night. I love hanging with my guy, it makes me so happy :)
I got up early Sunday morning and made us a big breaky of fried egg sammys with the fresh, organic eggs I bought at the Farmers Market and they were great. I spent the rest of the morning washing and packing J's clothes for his hunting and fishing camp and getting things ready for dinner that night. I decided to tackle a brisket for the 1st time and had been marinating it all night. I got it ready to go in the oven since I was cooking it on low all day while I was gone and got the dressing ready for the potato salad. I picked J up at 12:30 and we hit the road. We stopped in Jackson to have lunch at BYB. He was so excited about going to camp or having a good burger, not sure which one it was!

I tried the blackened chicken sandwich for the first time and loved it.

We got to Covenant Ranch around 3:30 and got J checked in and he was off to find the rest of the boys almost before I could get a hug in.
Here are a few pics of the "ranch".

I made the drive back home and pulled up to a sparkling house. K cleaned the gutters and pressure washed the house while I was gone. It looked great. I checked the brisket and things were not going as I had planned. It had been cooking for 6 hours at 200 degrees, wrapped in foil. Apparently it was not enough heat, the damn thing was hardly cooked at all so I knocked it on up to 350 for another hour and a half. It was decent. The marinade was a little salty and it wasn't as tender as I hoped for. Guess next time I try something new, I will look to a recipe for guidance instead of winging it.
J called right before we went to bed from his new cell phone I got him specifically to keep in touch while he was away. He was super excited about that too!

It was almost 10:30 and he was just returning from the snack bar eating a milky way and drinking a coke. He really is not going to want to come home! They were having a great time. They had already done some archery and the zip lines and their devotions. I'm so glad he's enjoying himself so much.
This morning, I made K and I a Reese's peanut butter cup smoothie for breakfast with peanut butter, chocolate protein powder, soy milk and flax seed. I ate a peach with mine. Lunch was a spicy tuna and shrimp bowl, some mac and chz and a chocolate chip cookie from Whole Foods.

Family Night

I picked J up from basketball camp and he was loving the idea of Jerry's Sno Cone as much as I was so we stopped by and kept on going. There were at least 15 people waiting on their cones and at least that same amount still waiting to order. We didn't have time to stand in that slow moving line because we still had to grab K, some Bar B Q and get out to mom's for dinner.

We stopped in at Tops after picking up K and ordered a picnic pack. Sissy and John were meeting us at Mom and Roy's too. It was divine and we all stuffed our faces. I think J ate more than the adults. After dinner, we visited a little while and headed home pretty early because K had some laundry he needed to do. J and I took the "early" factor and used it to our advantage. Since there was a little bit of daylight left, we decided to give Jerry's another try!

SCORE!!!!!!! I had a wedding cake supreme and J had a pina colada supreme. He has become quite the fan since our beach vacay. We enjoyed our sno on the way home. J and K watched baseball and I read the new book Sis gave me for the rest of the night. Can't remember what it's called but it's good so far. The next kid???? I don't know....
Breaky this morning was 1/2 a grapefruit and a chicken smoked sausage on a high fiber english muffin. By the time I was ready for my snack (a big bag of cold grapes) I was feeling like I was trapped and needed some fresh air so I grabbed my grapes and went and sat under a shade tree by the waterfalls and spouts on Main Street.

It's so relaxing hearing the water and the kids playing while a cool breeze blows on your face.
I'm about to eat the rest of the leftover salad from Olive Garden take out and then heading home to let the oven repairman in :))))))))))))))) K and J have been missing my cooking and so have I!

Good hair day

I had a hair appointment after work yesterday which means it was my only guaranteed good hair day for the next 8 weeks. It really irks me that I can NEVER, EVER get my hair to look the way Dan makes it look. Or any hairdresser for that matter. While I was waiting to get my hair done, I went through the magazines to find my entertainment for the next hour or so and came upon this:

Who knew????? Only in the south would a woman want a magazine where she can get cherry pie recipes and find some gun articles. I love it! After my appointment, I swung by Olive Garden and grabbed us some soup, salad and bread sticks for dinner. I swear that is one of my favorite to go meals in the world. The chicken gnocchi soup is sick it's so damn good. J, K and I watched another episode of America's Got Talent. Right now are the try outs and they are hysterical. Last night had Spongejhetta singing about how we could find her in her studio, up in her studio, studio. Here's the clip, it is so awesome. The best laugh I had of the day:

This morning I did another elliptical/strength session for 45 minutes. I wanted to make sure to get 20 minutes of weights in so this time I split it up like this:
2 1/2 minutes elliptical forward
2 1/2 minutes elliptical backwards
5 minutes strength

I felt great after! For breakfast, I had a chicken smoked sausage with sweet/spicy mustard on a high fiber english muffin, a spinach pancake and an apple with some peanut butter. Glad I had such a big breaky to because when I got to work, I saw on my calendar that I was scheduled to give blood this morning. I had forgotten all about it. After coming out of the blood drive bus, I saw something I could not believe....the parking lot attendant at the city lot behind 201 had barrelled up our guys motorcycles. He said he was given a memo to not allow any motorcycles, including police bikes, to park on the sidewalk.

Needless to say, Richard Nelson, traffic's Lieutenant, was furious. He had a few choice words for the manager of the lot and the chains were removed shortly thereafter.
Last night when I ordered our take out, I ordered an extra soup because we always have leftover salad and I could bring both of those to work with me for lunch. I threw in some grapes and had a veggie jam packed day for lunch.

It was yummy and very filling. This was the 1st time I tried their minestrone, it was pretty delish but did not compare to the chicken gnocchi. And even though I am stuffed, I cannot get those Jerry's Sno Cones off my mind. I have wanted one of my own ever since I tasted J's. I'm thinking today may just be a Jerry's Sno Cone day :)

Awesome find!

On my way to pick J up from basketball camp I had a little friend ride along with me.

I love ladybugs! This one did not have any red on her though, so I wasn't as in love with her as I am with most of them.
I snagged J and we decided to ride to Jerry's Sno Cone to see what all the hype was about that place lately.

The parking lot was packed when we got there and it took quite a while to get J's sno cone but shazaam it was worth the wait and those were J's exact words after taking the first bite of his cotton candy sno cone supreme.

A sno cone supreme is whatever flavor sno cone you want mixed with soft serve ice cream and it truly, truly, truly was the best sno cone I have ever eaten in my life. J let me have 2 bites without incident but on my third one he got all possessive so it was my last which was ok since I am trying to lose my extra poundage. We got home and I took a small nap before dinner. My jaw has been extremely sore for a few days and I think it must be wearing me down. I've always had problems with it popping but now it is hurting too. No bueno! Speaking of Mexican....that's what we decided to have for dinner. Well that's what K and I decided on, J was against it, swearing up and down that he hated it (like he always does). We went to El Mezcal (or Elmo's Cow, as J use to call it when he was a tee tiny tike). J has actually been really good about trying new things lately so I decided to see if we could keep the ball of change rolling. I ordered a cheese enchilada and a beef taco w/ guac and pico, K ordered the Ultimate Tacos (good story behind these to follow too) and J ordered a chicken quesadilla, a beef taco and cheese dip. I also got an order of tamales for the table. The cheese dip, salsa, chips and guac came out immediately and luckily I was able to fend these enemies off for the most part in thanks to my sore jaw and desire to drop some lbs. Our food came out and looked delicious. I was happy with all of my cheesy goodness and J was extremely happy with the taste of his, including the tamales. I love when he broadens his horizons! But K, now that was a different story, he was already in a little bit of a testy mood thinking about things going on at work and when he started trying to eat his tacos, they fell apart every time he picked one up and it absolutely pissed him off. It put him in such a foul mood and I couldn't help but laugh. Of course, it was ridiculous that he was getting so angry over tacos but I know how it feels to let something ever so slight send you over the edge when you are having a not so great day. I started poking at him and making fun of him and wound up making him laugh and be in a better mood. I just love that I have found someone that I love so much that when they are being ridiculous, it makes me laugh and want to make them happy instead of pissing me off and making me angry at them. I think he was happy I was there to snap him out of his mood too. Later that night, when I was dying laughing at him over it again, he swore up and down that he was so made, he was about to throw a taco across the dining room so of course now we have a huge joke about being mad enough to fling a taco.
I got up this morning and decided to give my heel a rest so I went on a nice bike ride. My legs were really tired in the beginning but after about 20 minutes felt fine. I did a 9.53 mile ride in 51 minutes. It was pretty muggy out even though it wasn't that hot yet and I was drenched when I got home. I decided to try a new breakfast. I microwaved some Kashi Lean cereal, chocolate soy milk and a scoop of peanut butter. It smelled yummo!

But IT WAS NOT!!! After the 1st bite, I tried to convince myself I could choke it down but I couldn't so I got half a grapefruit and some cashews to replace the puke.

After getting ready and getting J up and ready for camp, I decided I needed a little more food so I heated up a spinach pancake and a buffalo chicken smoked sausage. Way better than the original mess I made. Later at work, I started getting hungry but wanted to have a pretty late lunch so I ate the rest of the fruit that was left over from our lake weekend.

The dual breakfast and fruit snack was enough to hold me off until around 2:00 for my lunch. I grabbed a plate lunch from Whole Foods last night when I was in getting the ingredients for my marvelous breakfast....riiiiiight!

I tried one of their mock crab cakes (made with tofu) for the 1st time and it was really, really tasty. I had the grilled asparagus and Mexican spiced sweet potatoes with it. There would have been no way in the world someone could have told me two years ago that I would be eating "mock" meat and enjoying it on a somewhat regular basis. I need to start incorporating it into my diet more.

Yes!!!! Soul Fish!

Since J is in basketball camp and I am getting to work and leaving early everyday, I am eating in house. Yesterday, I brought some of the leftover rotisserie chicken and pasta salad from the lake.

I didn't bother heating up the chicken since I didn't have an oven and I don't like what the microwave does to it. It wasn't as tasty as it had been on the lake so I just ate the part of the drumstick and part of the thigh but the pasta did not disappoint. After work, I picked up J from basketball camp and he was in hog heaven. He had players and Pastner's autographs on his shoe and once I got there, he had me take his picture with all of them. I will post them at the end of the week since they are on my camera and I have no way to get them off right now. We got home and I worked out. I did a mixture of elliptical and strength training while we caught up on some of our TV shows. I came up with this idea last week and am really digging it. It totally cuts out the monotony of the elliptical and strength by themselves and by mixing it up this way, I don't have a chance to get bored. Last night's workout lasted 55 mins and broke down like this:
5 minutes forward elliptical
5 minutes backward elliptical
5 minutes doing 5 different strength exercises that focused on legs, shoulders, back, arms & abs

I did this 3 times and then on the last one I cut out the backward elliptical. I was sweating like a mad man when I got through. After my workout, J and I played some basketball before I hopped in the shower. K went to the doctor yesterday and was diagnosed with a pretty bad sinus and ear infection and had been at home all day resting and taking dis scripts. He decided he wanted to get out for dinner and I was all for it since I still can't cook. We went to Soul Fish Cafe!!!

I love that place and LOVE their catfish and tartar sauce. I wasn't starving when we got there since I had a late lunch but that never stops me from devouring everything that is on my plate so I devised a plan and luckily K went along with it. They serve their catfish fillets in a large and small size. The large has 4 fillets and the small has 3 and they both come with fries and slaw and 3 hush puppies.
The small is still a large portion of food and I always gobble down every bite even though I am full way before the food is gone, so I talked K into ordering the large basket and giving me 2 of the fillets and one of the hush puppies. I then ordered a side of slaw and steamed broccoli and stole one of J's hush puppies. So I was able to get a satisfying taste of catfish and hush puppies without it being too damaging to my diet. It tasted fantastic and satisfied my completely! I ate every bite on my plate like I usually do but since I had a sensible plate, I did not leave miserably stuffed like I usually do. Yay for me!
I woke up early enough this morning in time to get a workout done before I had to get ready for work, I decided to take advantage of the early morning mild temperatures (compared to the 100+ degrees we've been having for days now) and went for a jog. After the Gibson 5K and realizing that I still had some endurance in me and did not have to necessarily do the run/walk combos I have been wussing out on, I did ok this morning. I jogged for 2 1/2 miles and walked 1/4 mile before and after the jog. I did pretty good and definitely better than I expected. I was at a very slow pace but I'm not knocking it because I did it! Hopefully it will all get back to me. In the meantime, this is what style I am having to sport since my heel didn't do as great on the jog as the rest of my body.
Nice, right? After my run, I made a smoothie out of vanilla soy milk, Rob Roy's tropical dreamsicle whey protein powder, flax seed and a frozen fruit mix of bananas, strawberries and mangos and had about a cup or so of mixed fruit with grapes, pineapple honeydew and cantaloupe when I got to work.I'm about to eat some more pasta salad that I doctored up with cayenne pepper and garlic salt and finish out my work day.

Oh yeah, and I talked to Mom today and she sounded like she was in great spirits, She said some of her energy was back and she thinks her meds are helping the depression so I am super happy hearing all good things from her today.

Great weekend for me, not so much for K

After work Friday, I ran by Schnuck's and grabbed some groceries to take out on the boat for Saturday and K and I packed our bags and hit the road, headed towards Pickwick. Sis and John were not far behind us. By the time K and I got on the road, it was already 6:45 and we were both pretty hungry so we decided to grab some Wendy's burgers and eat while riding. They tasted pretty yummy but I could tell almost immediately they weren't going to make me feel great. We made it to the lake house and I got to work making some pasta salad for the next day. Sis and John made it about an hour later and we hung out at the house, having a few drinks and talking. John and K went out and hit a few late night golf balls while Sis and I relaxed on the deck. We wound up talking until 1a.m. We made it to bed and woke up Saturday morning to a thunderstorm. I was not happy about the rain and neither were the pups, luckily it moved out by 10ish!

We gathered all of our cleaning supplies and started to make our way to the boat. We stopped at Fred's on the way so we could grab a few noodles to relax with once we were out on the water.

While I was shopping, I also came across this:

Not a cool visual to start the day with!!!!!
We made it to the boat and had to wait a little bit for Lewis to pull us to the launch so we got busy cleaning. The cover was covered with pollen and bird poop so we folded it up and stuck it in K's truck so we could use the hose to clean it at the house. We were able to get all of the mildew and mold off the seats and counters with some Clorox spray and then rinsed it all off when we got to the water. K and I scrubbed the shade cover and got the pollen off it it. We all cleaned the pollen off the outside and worked on the mildew on the carpet. We weren't able to get it all off of there so will finish it later with some carpet cleaner. We were relaxing on a sparkling boat in a quiet cove in no time!

We fixed some rotisserie chicken roll ups, pasta salad and fruit for lunch and then just hung out on the boat and in the water the rest of the day. K came down with a sinus infection Thursday night and being outside and getting so hot must have made it worse. By the end of the day, he was hurting pretty bad. We got off the lake a little after 6 and went home and cleaned up. We went over to Jon's Pier for dinner. We started dinner off with a spinach/artichoke dip and a crab and shrimp dip. The spinach dip was delish, the crab was ok. I had the chicken cordon pier with a loaded potato, K had the prime rib sandwich and Sis and John split a salad and the fish of the day. Mine was good and of course I sampled K's. His was pretty good too and Sis and John were satisfied with theirs. All in all, it exceeded my expectations and I am glad we tried it out. We will be back. After dinner, we went back to the lake house and hung out in the back. We listened to music, built a campfire, talked, drank and then went and laid out on the golf course and studied the constellations. We had so much fun staring up at the sky and figuring out where all the different stars were. We wound up having another late night, we stayed out there past 1 a.m.

The sky is so amazing when you are out in the country! When we first got out there, we could already see a ton of stars but the later it got, the more we could see and then around midnight, we were able to see the milky way. It was so neat!!!! I'm not sure if I have ever seen it before. If I have, it was when I was a kid. Truly amazing to see and think about all that God has done.
Sissy, John and I got up Sunday morning and went to R&B's BBQ to grab some dinner. K stayed in bed because his sinus infection was so bad. I had half of a garbage omelet, some loaded hash browns and a few bites of cheese grits. I took the leftovers back to K and Sissy gave him some Tylenol Sinus which had him feeling a little better. Sis and I cleaned the boat cover and her and John went and put it back on the boat while K and I stayed so I could finish the laundry. K and I went out to his hunting land to check on things and to fire up his 4 wheeler since it had been sitting so long. We went for a little ride around part of the property but K was still feeling horrible so we called it quits after 20 minutes or so and headed back to Memphis. I was hoping for some catfish for dinner but K didn't feel like he could make it out once we got home so I picked up some burgers from BK when I went to get J. Sunday's meals was way less than ideal and I have got to take charge of what I put in my mouth!!!!! I am thinking about getting back on Weight Watchers. I have to do something, this extra 10(15) pounds is really bothering me.

Josh Pastner's basketball camp started this morning. J is super excited. Jackson Stanley was suppose to be going to the same session but we didn't see him while we were registering but there were a ton of people.

Coach Pastner was there bright and early to talk to the boys.

I hope he's having lots of fun. K went to the doctor and got lots of drugs to help cure him and is at home in bed now, so hopefully he will be better soon. I'm about to eat some lunch (leftover rotisserie chicken and pasta salad) and then finish my work day out before I pick J up.

Come on weekend!

Yesterday was crazy hot and Even though I was hungry, nothing heavy or hot sounded good and I needed to run to Midtown to the Outdoor Inc. shop because I decided on a birthday present for K. I had been going back and forth between getting him a grill or a bike and finally decided that I could make a better decision without his input on a bike so I wanted to go window shopping instead of waiting til the last minute like I usually do. I stopped at my favorite Chick-Fil-A while I was in Midtown. Even though it is my favorite one, this was the first time I ate there. It is my favorite because of the story behind it. Where it is located, use to be a very old and beautiful church. The church went under for whatever reason and Chick-Fil-A bought the property. When they tore the church down, they left part of the front wall and turned that area into an outdoor eating place. A lot of people in Memphis were pissed off about them tearing the church down to build a restaurant but I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Chick-Fil-A didn't force the church to sell their property and if they wouldn't have bought it, someone else would have and I think it's cool that they left part of the history there.

I had some iced tea and the southwestern grilled chicken salad. It's cool and crunchy texture and spicy taste really hit the spot!

After lunch, I ran over to Outdoor Inc. and found an awesome bike for Kennon but they didn't have it in his size. The guy called around and found one for me at the Cordova location. I swung by there and put a deposit down on it. I'm so excited about it and hope K loves it. If he doesn't, I will take it cuz it's awesome! It is a Gary Fisher Tarpon.

After work, K and I went to Shelby Farms to get in a workout. He ran the Chickasaw trail and I rode my bike. I did 2 loops around the Chickasaw trail and one loop around Patriot Lake for a total of 7.23 miles. The hills on the trail were a bit challenging. My breathing issues are still very confusing. It was still hot as Hades and while we were there, we saw one of the bisons cooling off in a mud puddle. He was so cute!

We decided to watch game #7 of the NBA championship and order take out for dinner. I ran up to Pei Wei and picked up up some lettuce wraps, veggie friend rice and crab wontons.

It hit the spot perfectly and was more satisfying than the game! The Lakers came from behind and beat the Celtics. Yuck! I hate Kobe Bryant :(((((
I wanted to work out this morning but slept in because I didn't sleep well last night. I made cheese toast with deli thins for breakfast and had some cherries with it. For lunch, I ran home to meet the oven repairman and had leftover veggie rice from last night and half a whole wheat pita with some hummus. The lunch was good but the repair wasn't. He has to order the part to fix it and it won't be in until the middle of next week. Several more nights of take out. Now I am at the office waiting on quitting time! Oh how I love Fridays!!!!!!!!
