Texting, girls' fun, Franklin trip, baseball, a new house and some last time fun at the old house

Tons of things have happened since my last post:
Mom learned to text!
Suz made it to town for a short visit.
Cinco de Mayo was celebrated by the pool!
We made a trip to Franklin for Pokey and Melissa's crawfish boil and got stuck staying in a creepy hotel with a cemetery out front.

I also had time to visit with Baby Violet and Les and we made it out to the Franklin Farmer's Market and had some chicken love on a biscuit from one of the food trucks. It was a hot and spicy chicken breast on a homemade biscuit with homemade pickles and drizzled with homemade mustard and local honey. I'm drooling right now remembering this party in my mouth!
J had his last game with the Braves last week and has one more game tonight (The All Star Game).

We found out we are going to be able to get Matt's old house so this is where we will be residing soon! We are so excited :)
We also spent the past few days having a little last time fun at our Verosa Urban Oasis.

Roy's Bday. Baseball and a new All Star. The temporary return of a favorite.

Weekend before last we celebrated Roy boy's birthday. It fell on Sunday and he asked that everyone come to church with him so me, K, J, Sis, John, Tay and Tristen met Mom and Roy at CTK and then took him to lunch at On The Border (his choice!!) after church.
He was tickled to death to have us all at church with him and to go to lunch. Roy's language of love is definitely "Quality Time"!
Of course there has been more baseball, which is not s surprise BUT I received an email from J's coach yesterday that said J has been chosen to be on the GBL All Star league. This also means he is eligible to be a part of the Dizzy Dean baseball league this summer, I am so proud of my little ball player. He has done so week this year and just keeps improving.
Last weekend brought back an old favorite....Redneck Riviera is back full swing :) but only for a limited time. Turns out we have a buyer for our house and are scheduled to close on June 1st!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In the meantime, we need to find a house pretty quick but we relaxed last weekend. Other happenings included dinner and appys at Jim's Place with Angie and Tom and then K and I grabbed a late dinner at Old Venice Friday night. Saturday afternoon was filled with a doubleheader of J's baseball. The Sheriff's Spring Fling was that night at Mirimichee and then a little trip to the Electric Cowboy afterwards with Katie, Joey, Jessica, Judson, David, Melissa, Jerod and Lauren.
Sunday was church, sun and steaks on the grill for me and K. J didn't care for the sun part too much!
