Lazy Sunday

I tried to out sleep Taco yesterday and Kennon tried to out sleep me. What I'm saying is there was lots of couch and recliner time thrown in with a little bit of reading and watching football. The only thing that really got us away from this was picking up Jake and grabbing some dinner at Vinegar Jim's.

Headed east this morning with my man to enjoy 4 wheeling, deer scouting, fall foliage & a perfect day.

The day started off entertaining with these nitwits as my entertainment.

Lunch rolled around quick while I was watching the show. Dug into a good taco salad.

Made it through and K got our weekend started off the right way.

It wasn't long after that the coyotes started howling and Margo decided to stay close.

Got this murder mystery today so hopefully there will be some time to start it this weekend!

Everything feels pretty much complete in our new home now with the exception to still needing to do a few small decoration things and get our media room up and running :)
I finally got new bed stuff for our bedroom and I am in love!

It makes getting out of bed even harder now but at least I get views like this when I do!

Finally back on!

It's been a while, my work computer wouldn't let me blog anymore and I'm never on a computer at home so I just gave it up for a while but I found the iPhone app and hopefully will be rolling full force again!
It's been 5 months so a lot has happened but the best parts have been another trip to Anna Maria Island, J making the BOS Baseball Club competitive team, a trip to Baton Rouge to see out Tigers play, and a 1 year wedding anniversary celebration for K and I.

Moving sucks but the beach doesn't!

Once again, life has gotten in the way of my blogging but this time it was a legit reason. We have been in the packing/moving/unpacking phase for a month now and it is still not over but we are living in our new home so things are going in the right direction!

We even managed to have our first get together despite all of the boxes and mayhem everywhere.

June 6 is when we officially spent our first night at the house and we are loving it!

K caught the first fish......

And J caught the first raccoon.

Lit fires

Tried to kill the landscaping

and totally passed out.
It has been a busy and fun 1st month and I am looking forward to so many more good times in our house and good memories to last a lifetime!
Last weekend, I took a little long weekend at the beach with some girlfriends to get away from the stress of moving and it was a much needed and appreciated trip.

For 60 straight hours, all we did was eat, drink, relax with our toes in the sand and laugh!

And to add to all of that, this was my bedroom view during it all....pretty great weekend!
